Welcome to The Cake Lady! We are an all-custom, boutique cake design studio. Here you will find information on creating that special cake for your event. Whether it is a bar(bat)mitzvah, a wedding, or an anniversary, or you simply want a cake for a small dinner party, you've come to the perfect place. Two week lead time is required on all orders. We purchase ingredients specific to each order and do not keep cakes in stock for quick pick up. Because of this, you are guaranteed a fresh, custom cake which is made with the highest quality ingredients we can find. All fresh fruit is charged at market price and is purchased within 24 hours of the event delivery time. You are not restricted to a specific shape, flavor, or filling for your cake. I work with many different styles of cake decorating. In addition, unlike many of your traditional "store-front" establishments, I use REAL buttercreams for my cakes. I can and do work with fondant as many brides prefer this method of cake covering. My cakes are reasonably priced and quite competitive with the local market. Free delivery within a 5 miles. The cake was ordered just the night before, but she had no problem getting it done. I am a very picky eater, and don't care too much for cake, but this Strawberry Cheescake was incredible. I am very happy to have leftovers, although it probably won't last beyond tonight! At this time, she only does this part time, but as my cousin pointed out as we were eating it, she could and should do this full time. The cake looked and tasted great. I ordered a cake for my children's First Holy Communion from Cynthia. I ordered the cake on Thursday and she delivered it to the restaurant we held the party at on Saturday.
