Brides look no further! Wedding and Event Sitters by Charity were so wonderful. If you want your adult guests to relax and enjoy themselves without having to worry about their children, Charity is the person to call. Charity and her staff were so responsible, helpful, knowledge, flexible and most importantly FUN! The children attending our wedding LOVED the "Kids Room" and didn't want to leave. All the parents came up to me and my husband thanking us for hiring sitters for such a special occasion. It was a a win-win situation, the kids had a great time and so did the parents!

We couldn't be happier with the childcare services Charity provided for our wedding. The kids were all thrilled to spend time with her and her assistant during the dinner and reception, since she was so fun, kind, and had so many activities for them to do. In fact, one of our friends went to pick up her toddler at the end of the night and her normally shy little girl said, "Bye Mommy!" when she saw her walk in the room because she wanted to stay with Charity rather than leave with her parents. We love that our guests were able to feel confident leaving their children in her care. I also have nothing but good things to say about working with her -- she was very quick and professional in replying to emails and making the arrangements. I can't say enough good things about her and her business!

Not only the service itself allowed parents to enjoy the party with oeace of mind and longer than having a sitter at home, but the kids loved their sitter. The kids had a wonderful time, were happy, entertained and didn't want to leave. They were around 4-6 years old, and more than six months after the wedding they are still talking and remembering their experience. I am very happy and thankful to find Charity and to offer this option to my guests. It is not only a top service what is provided but it is also done at a wonderful affordable price, a difficult combination to find in services within the wedding market. Recommend them 100%. I would use them again for another event if I need them.

Charity provided babysitting services for my wedding on July 4th. She was responsive and reliable and has a professional website that required the parents of the kids to register prior to the event, so she could be fully prepared. I had two new mothers with a 1-yr old and a 3-month old baby (my niece). Charity was PERFECT. The mothers checked on their babies a few times early in the evening and they couldn't believe how entertained the kids were. She has a natural way with children and the mothers quickly relaxed and enjoyed the party. I knew Charity was worth it when both mothers were on the dance floor having a great time. We had to pay extra because Charity had to travel to our locale, but I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

All I can say is Charity is amazing, wonderful, worth her weight in gold. If I could rate Charity any higher I would. Words can not describe how great Charity is and how much I appreciate her service. We were in Denver (from DC) for a wedding and needed someone to watch our 6 month old daughter so my husband and I could enjoy the wedding and have our first date since she was born. After speaking to Charity over the phone and hearing about her service, the qualifications of her babysitters and getting to know Charity, I was comfortable with hiring her to look after Cassidy. Charity came to our room and took care of our daughter for the afternoon and evening. She put me right at ease the moment I met her and leaving my daughter with a babysitter for the first time was made so much easier because of Charity. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect person. She was so amazing with Cassidy, who is very high needs and can be "vocal" and fussy. Our daughter was so happy, she didn't even notice or care when I left the room. It was a difficult job because Cassidy doesn't sleep except in an Ergo and won't take a bottle. Charity sent me periodic text messages letting me know everything was ok, that Cassidy was napping and when she needed to eat. I feel Charity went way above and beyond by wearing my daughter for an hour so she could get a much needed nap. Additionally, Charity showed up with so many toys, an exersaucer, everything a little girl could want and need. Once when we came up they were playing with a toy and Charity was reciting the ABCs. Her value for cost - unbelievable. She could have charged twice her rate and we would have paid it gladly. I could go on an on about how great Charity is, how my daughter loved her and how she is an amazing, sweet, kind person. My only regret is that she doesn't live closer to DC! We love her!!
