I highly recommend Sarah and Trulife for any wedding, but my experience with Sarah involved a LGBT, outdoor, high altitude wedding. I can say that we could not have picked a better photography for her skill and knowledge of using natural light and surroundings to make our wedding beautiful. Sarah was extremely flexible with how WE wanted OUR photographs to look and worked with our desires to make everything look amazing and happen naturally. Sarah treated our same-sex wedding like she would any wedding, she was just as excited for us as she is for any of her brides. I would highly recommend Sarah for any LGBT couple looking for a wedding photography. It's so important to know that the people who are surrounding you on your wedding day are excited for you and your family.

My husband and I used Sarah and Trulife Photography for both our engagement and wedding photo shoots. She took the time to change settings if needed for a good shot, and to try new shots we thought of last minute. Sarah had our proofs and a fantastic slideshow set to music, ready for us in a timely manner. She offers a discount for early orders, and has many options for prints and albums. The groom and I drove to Denver for a photography session with Sarah on our wedding day, and she showed tremendous professional skill, both in the psychological hand-holding and in the creative ideas departments. (Note: she graciously took some shots with our family and then politely sent them away to rest. Excellent move.) You can't go wrong with Sarah, especially if you like theatrical backdrops and unusual (but flattering) angles. She has an eye for drama that can make a wedding couple actually look interesting! She also does some nifty editing later to even out shadows and tones. If you are into edgy urban backdrops, she is the artist for you! She is also very talented with the more traditional, park-like shots. Some of our favorite images from the shoot include a backdrop of gritty urban Denver, which actually looks appealing without being distracting. She also took a fabulous pic of us on a park bench, casually hanging out together in our formal clothes. She asked us toward the end of the session if we wanted more images in another, more traditional style, and we said no. Since we are late-thirties/early-forties types, getting our pictures taken is not exactly our idea of a great use of time. We are glad that we declined the extra shots, because we had more than enough smartly selected images inthe portfolio to choose from. The point I am making is that if you want a longer session, Sarah will keep going until you are happy. I highly recommend Sarah if you think you might have some stiff people in the portrait or a reluctant groom. I texted the groom to ask him if he had anything to add to this review and he said that Sarah "is great to work with." So there you have it from a man who hates wearing a suit and detests having his picture taken. Sarah can find everyone's best angle, and she doesn't make the experience painful. In fact, we both have great memories of the experience! Sarah rocks!

Sarah does a wonderful job capturing real moments and taking beautiful photos. She does a great job to go to meaningful backdrop areas to take your photos and creating a relaxed environment. Sarah provides you a draft of your album before it is produced and has you approve every detail, right down to the photo on the front of the album and then once it is approved by you, it is completed and sent in a short time so it can be used for your ceremony as a guest book or whatever you need. She does a wonderful job to capture all the details of the ceremony and reception without being intrusive of you visiting with guests and does great to organize and create the photos you want of your family members and wedding party. Just tell her what you need and she will do it. Very highly recommended.

Sarah was an excellent and very personal photographer for my wedding. She can work with any budget and give you the most for your money. She offers a large variety of options and products. She is very flexible and will work with you until you are 100% satisfied. Her photographs are beautiful and the quality of prints and albums is unmatched. She is very easy to work with, always makes herself available and will make your experience unforgettable and enjoyable.

We really loved having Sarah take fabulous photos for our engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. We also did a trash the dress session which was a lot of fun. I used Sarah as the photographer for my wedding and she was truly professional and very patient! My husband and I had a Mexican wedding, so there were tons of family members and lots of kids running around. She was able to get everyone together and smiling at the same time! My husband and I also did a salsa/swing dance as our first dance, and she got some GREAT pictures of us in action.
