Schaffer's was a great place to get my dress from. The ladies that helped me pick it out and helped me with my veil and alterations were just lovely to work with! They always seemed happy to be there at their job and to see me which made the appointments so easy. My dress was beautiful and I was very happy with the few alterations that it had to have. The veil that I ordered from there turned out so gorgeous too. I had the add crystals to it and it just went so well with my dress! I'm so happy with my experience from Schaffer's and will definitely tell everyone to go there.

I found my dream dress here, it was fabulous!! They have a wide selection at affordable prices. I only had one alteration done and then my dress was perfect!

I bought my gown and veil there, and had them do my alterations. I had plenty of time allotted for all of this. The dress came in early, and they stored it there for over the 6 mos they said they would do for free. My complaints would be that the store is older and dirty feeling, (I've been to both their old and new locations), and the new location is not very convenient anymore (the old one was very centrally located in Denver). Also, the seamstress took in the dress too much the first time, and had to let it out again, and my bustle broke almost immediately at the reception. I'm glad I had safety pins!

I bought a beautiful Mori Lee gown from Schaffer's last summer for my December wedding. All of my bridesmaids and my mom live out of town, so I was on my own to pick out the perfect gown. The bridal consultant on duty when I came in was Renee. She was phenomenally helpful and honest (in a very nice way). She had me try on five or six VERY different dresses at first to choose a basic style, then we ran around the shop finding all of the dresses in the style I'd chosen. She was very good about staying in my price range and NEVER pushed me to spend more. The dress came in very quickly and they called me the day it arrived. My fittings were uneventful, and the seamstress did a beautiful job. She even mended my great aunt's veil (re-stitched ALL of the alcenon lace by hand) and didn't charge me a penny! I highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a beautiful gown and a lot of help!

In a nutshell, they were helpful in helping me find a dress, but when ordering and altering they simply wouldn't do what I requested. The dress didn't fit EVEN though I requested that the dress be ordered in my size and when the dress arrived despite numerous alterations the dress STILL didn't fit. I spent my entire wedding day pulling and tugging up my dress. I still get angry when I look at pictures of my wedding.

I tried on a sample dress at another store in town, and Schaffer's also carries that line. Seeing as they are very close to my home and work, I decided to have Schaffer's purchase the dress for ease of alterations. What a mistake. I went in 8 weeks before my wedding to get the dress taken in, bustle and underskirt hemmed. I had to pick it up 1 day before my wedding because it took them so long to accomplish those tasks. They will ask for at least a week between fittings, and when you come back for more fittings, the items they were supposed to do will not be finished. I was NOT happy picking up my dress the day before - what a stress to have, and the ONLY stress I had during my planning process.
We also tried on sample dresses there. Ugh, what a mess. the store is small and cramped and they give to NO assitance. Other stores give you consultants to help you pick out dresses and try them on - not them. They are the worst. Do NOT shop there.

The store itself is very old and does not make you feel so clean and pretty, and it is often very busy inside. However, once someone comes to help you, they give you full attention and work to make what you want happen. My alterations went very smoothly. I would recommend this place for you wedding gown.

I have found my perfect wedding dress at Schaffer's Ultimate Bridal Boutique. I have tried on many dresses, and the staff was so patient and nice. I was able to find the perfect dress also at such an affordable price. I had a budget for about $500-$1500. I didn't want to pay a fortune on a dress that only gets worn for a few hours. I paid around $650 for my dress. Everyone thought that the dress was so classy and beautiful. No one would ever know that my dress was so cheap. Every other dress that I tried on was around $1000 or more.
Schaffer's Has many selections to choose from and the staff are so nice and helpful.
I will definately recommend you to all my girl-friends and family.

I bought a San Patrick dress from Schaffer's. My consultant was very nice and helpful. After telling her what I wanted and liking some of my and her choices, she told me she had a new dress that she thought I would like. I loved it. The alterations woman was great. However, the flexibility was a little difficult as they only wanted to do alterations on weekends and it was hard for me to make it there then. Overall, though I was very pleased and got so many compliments on my dress.

These people went above and beyond to help us. One of my bridesmaids was pregnant and had to be fitted at the last minute after she had the baby. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Much obliged - everything fit wonderfully and they made sure our time lines were met.

I was really thrilled with the selection and service at Schaffer's. At first, I didn't want to even bother going because looking at the Web site, I thought the dresses would be to expensive. I found, however, that there were dresses in every price range and in a wide variety of styles.
Additionally, the service was great -- every consultant I interacted with there was very nice and patient -- which I did not find to be the case everywhere. They were also very knowledgeable, and on two occasions out of maybe four visits, two different employees went above and beyond for me.
Plus, check out their Web site -- I found a 10% off coupon on there when I bought my dress. Every penny counts!

I loved my experience at Schaffer's. I had visited many, many shops prior to this one trying to find a dress that I really liked which would not break the bank. The staff here was very helpful without being pushy. The shop itself is very cute, but not stuffy. The dressing rooms have lots of space and good lighting. Everyone there was so supportive when I tried on a dress and really helped me find a fabulous one that fit my personality and body beautifully.

I liked that I didn't need to make an appointment to try on dresses. I live an hour and a half away so their flexibility was very much appreciated. They had so many dresses available to try on. The staff is very knowledeable and very helpful. I ended up buying my dress and ordered all of the bridesmaid dresses there as well. I had my alterations done at Schaffer's and thought they were great and very flexible as well.

The store itself certainly isn't anything to look at but the dresses and the staff are absolutely fantastic! They were all wonderful to work with every time we were there. Although I found the dress I was looking for, they were very unresponsive in helping with my alterations and a few other changes I wanted with my dress. They treated me so horribly the day I was there to buy my dress (which came in way later than they said it would), that my sister and I left there and vowed never to step foot in there again.
