Rev. Scott Awbrey

We highly recommend Rev. Scott Awbrey as a wedding officiant. In our wedding, he had so many beautiful, touching things to say that we will surely remember throughout our marriage. Our guests loved his ceremony and they all commented that they felt they could really relate to and connect with Rev. Scott’s message. We appreciated his support and communication leading up to our wedding weekend. That, combined with the rehearsal, helped us to go into the big day feeling relaxed and comfortable.

Scott Awbrey did an amazing job with our ceremony. He made our guests laugh and cry while being professional. Our guests commented on how much they loved the ceremony. The whole experience was better than we could have imagined. Thanks Scott for a very memorable ceremony to fit who we are.

Let me tell you what I really liked about scott, he was very professional and he took charge of what people were sopost to do, which I liked. However overall I was disapointed, during the rehersal we had planned on doing a rose ceremony for our mothers which was never done and he had never told me that there was a change in plans so I looked like a fool, not knowing what was going on, then he took off right after the ceremony, I never had a chance to thank him, He said bye to the groom, so I believe he double booked us, I found it rude that he could not say buy to me, after all I payed him. Then during the rehersal when I was telling him my mother bought butterflys to release, he was againest the whole idea and said they never work, but his job was not to make me feel like I made the wrong decision, he should of supported me, and the butterflys were beautiful. I would not recommend Scott for your wedding.

Scott was awesome! He showed up well before he needed to for both the rehearsal and the wedding. He took charge of the rehearsal and told people what their roles were. He had really cool ideas for our ceremony. On our wedding day it rained, and we decided to get married in the rain, and Scott was totally supportive, and did an AWESOME job of going with the flow, calming everyone in our audience, and marrying us in the rain. I would definintley reccomend him. He is a very good conversationalist, and has beautiful wording for any type of ceremony that you are looking for!

If your the type of couple who likes to keep things casual yet romantic, christian yet simple, or fun yet serious, then Rev. Scott is the person for your wedding!! He was truly amazing and made our ceremony exactly what we wanted and more!! My fiance and I were both of different faiths and were split on what we were going to do about having a minister for our wedding. As soon as we met Rev. Scott we knew instantly that he was the one we wanted for our wedding. He knew the right words to say about us and as a new couple entering into marriage and knew how important it was to incorporate our families as well. I loved how in the beginning he recognized all of our friends and family who traveled far for our wedding and let us turn around and see everyone. This made the whole ceremony so much more intimate and personal making everyone feel a part of our special day! He trule was amazing and by far one of the best ministers I have seen or had the pleasure of using on our wedding day!! Thanks Rev. Scott for everything!!
